America's Homeless Veterans
Each and everyday the are more than 200,000 Veterans Living on the streets of America.......sadly with no
place to go home to! During the course of a years time that number dramatically swells to over 400,000
Veterans that will experience the hard and cruel life of a Homeless Veteran. One third of the adult
population in America are Veterans. Twice as many are at risk of becoming homeless at any time.
Homeless Veterans In Florida
Each Day in Florida, there are 25,000 Homeless Veterans living on our streets or in shelters. 25,000 more
are at immediate risk of becoming Homeless Veterans too! The vast majority of Homeless Veterans in Florida
have served active duty in Vietnam. Most of the remaining Homeless Veterans severd in Iraq, Korea, and
WWII Combat Zones! America should be asking " Why is this and what are we doing to help now? "
